Maybe two, may three days ago I was listening to the BBC World
Service and heard the follow story:
Argentina has been having active cases of hoof and mouth
(_foot_and mouth to them) disease for about a year now, but have
succeeded in concealing the fact until lately. They did so so
that their exports of raw beef--on which their enconomy largely
depends--would not be suspended by other countries.
I have since spent several hours trying to scare this story up on
CNN, Altavista, Google, and even the BBC--without success. I
someone can put me on to it, I would greatly appreciate it.
