Re: [Setup] Plone 4.0.4: in email user folder name @ is changed to -40
Thanks Raphael, Im not at that level with Plone (patching). The question also arised because of my lack of knowledge into utf-8 encoding on FreeBSD in the light of Plone. Re: [Setup] Plone 4.0.4: in email user folder name @ is changed to -40
Thanks Laurence, but I would like to solve the problem as a user (not developer). Is managable? What if I where using da_DK.ISO8859-1 instead of UTF-8? Would that solve the problem? Re: [Setup] Plone 4.0.4: in email user folder name @ is changed to -40
Thanks Raphael, but I do not have authentication to that url. As said to Laurence, is it managable without having developer knowledge? Would it help using da_DK.ISO8859-1 instead of UTF-8? Its a bit annoying for people to use -40. I would be happy if user names where using @ - its a bit strange to login with cadaver using cadaver http://dav.hostname.dk/me-40yahoo.com;. Thanks. Nikolaj G. PS Ive set setenv LC_CTYPE da_DK.UTF-8 in .cshrc and using da_DK.UTF-8 in the Postgresql database. '@' is %40 in urlencoding, so I assume this is an artefact of the Plone id normalisation process, see http://plone.org/documentation/manual/plone-community-developer-documentation/misc/normalizing-ids Laurence -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Plone-4-0-4-in-email-user-folder-name-is-changed-to-40-tp6243761p6244033.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Setup mailing list Setup@lists.plone.org https://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
