Re: SD> Shelby (or other) Rear disc SHOES
> Autozone, etc... They are the same as Neon/SRT4 if i remember correctly. Yes, they are. I just put a set of new Spirit R/T rotors on my SRT-4 a few weeks ago. The rears are identical. The front rotors fit fine, although the original SRT ones were very slightly thicker. Re: SD> Shadow/CSX parts closeout deal at RockAuto.com
Oh, man! I wish I had some money. I would buy a bunch of that stuff. Most immediately, I need a dimmer switch for the '89 CSX. Does anybody know which of the ones they show is the right one? It's mounted on the column, about a foot or so down from the steering wheel. Right now my headlights will only work on bright, and I've pretty much narrowed it down to that switch. I can answer that part. It is NOT supposed to be gloss. It's a flat/satin/semigloss. (I don't know what the difference is between those.) Re: SD> car starts then dies?
I'm not sure this really matches your symptoms, but another thing that causes "starts then dies" problems is a bad MAP sensor. When one is bad you can unplug it, then the car will run (roughly). You didn't mention if there are any codes. Re: SD> Oil Filters Revealed
Thanks for that update, Russ. Great information! I've been using K&N filters on my SRT. I found that I can get them for $9.95 from www.ajusa.com with free shipping. Re: SD> Formula GP Struts for a CSX
I noticed that my '89 still has the Formula GPs on it! I need to replace them, as I'm sure they're shot. I don't guess they can be rebuilt or anything, can they? I figured I'd hang onto them, in any case. What about the pre-J-body LeBarons? The ones that were available with the 2.6L Mitsubishi? They don't look as solid, at least. I'm still here, as well! Since 1999, I think. I'm a little confused... Do we need to do anything at that http://www.imagilist.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbydodge address?
