Hi Daniel!

Pls try contacting him directly by email, because I agree with Adrian,
this is important. If we gain Allan as a developer, this would be
quite cool.

[Sibyl] Need some help: MySQL unit

2002-01-28 Thread Timo Maier

Hi!

Already posted this in the VP mailinglist, but no positive response do
far:

I have the latest, not yet published sources from the Direct SQL
project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/directsql/ This is a really
nice unit for MySQL access realeased under GPL.

Currently it works with Delphi, Kylix, Free Pascal and VP, but only on
Win32. The tcp/ip / socket stuff needs to be build in for VP OS/2.

Please can anyone help me implementing OS/2 support? Meanwhile I will
enhance the Direct SQL objects.

I can make the latest sources availabe. If someone thinks he can help,
please put a note in this mailinglist.

Just surfed to http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/ and it looks quite
cool, at least there are developers already working, and I think they
would appreciate another platform.

Pls contact the FP/2 people, ask for more info and post the results.

Where to start if I want to add code to the IDE?
