From the Welcome screen: – An important note about Field Trial – You're a part of a small group of people who are helping to test Google+. When you share something with people who are not yet able to use Google+, they will receive it via email but won't be able to comment or engage with the content like other Google+ users. They'll be able to join Google+ as we let more users in over time. I assume this means nobody can invite people just yet. -- Sumant Srivathsan http://sumants.blogspot.com

Since when did cricket become a light topic? I demand to know. It's ironic that all content is taken seriously and only lack of content in emails is considered fun. Of course the reference to the Mauritius rupee and Sachin's double-agent (non-)nature was serious. I don't see how one can (or should) expect inherently serious topics like cricket and double-agency and religious figures to be be 'fun' (whatever that means). I realize that. But the Mauritius reference came up because the Pakistani Rupee comment was taken seriously. And facts are just as sacrosanct as religion and deadpan humour and bad puns. Misleading people as to the extent of the rupee as a currency and as to the patriotic fervour of the master blaster (aka god) might seem like harmless fun now. Re: [silk] Plus by Google
I just got myself an account last night... and it seems to allow me to invite people if people just ping me, I can send out an invite. It says in the warning, though, that just because I send the invite doesn't mean that you would get it immediately! Cheers Nishant
