Re: CSOil of Oregano and colds
Actually I've had to revise my original post as I have persevered with the oil of oregano and have improved enormously in this week. I just had a couple of grotty days but now - a week later - there are almost no cold symptoms at all--I'm happy to say. I have taken o of o two or three times a day, plus CS plus lemon balm and am now pleased with the results. Compared to two people who I caught the cold from (they actually had a truly bad 'flu) my recovery is miraculous! They had it for six weeks and still have bad coughs, whereas I didn't really get a cough--just a tightness in the chest which is now easing up. A Happy New Year to you too. I had the oportunity to move into a wonderful old farm house down the road from me and I had to mobilize the family, livestock and friends rather quickly, if you call a two month move quick LOL! I've been tryinng to destess just a little over the holiday but hope to be back up to speed by tomorrow when the world comes back to work. What are the symptoms of your cold? Oregano usually works only too well but I've had the chance to try some new immune system boosters latelytoo, gano, mushroom extracts to be precise. The blend I'm using has the Agaricus Blazarai in it. There isn't much on the web about it yet because it seems to be so new the20 years of research results aren't in yet. I've been sticking to mostly vegetarian foods lately too and my immune system is pretty good so maybe those green veges are helping. I'm still detoxing from that root canal that was infected. I'm taking the carnivora now and it is really working to clean up all that resdual infection and dead white blood cell (pus) stuff that has been over taxing my lymph. Interesting experience, but I'm thankful it's truly almost gone now. That muscadine grape sed lotion I was telling you about is still a great relief from the inflamation issues but it's mostly palliative, it doesn't go to the underlying issues of the infection but it certainly lets my body have a rest. RE: CSOil of Oregano and colds/the sugar cure!
Here is a four hour cold cure using sugar! Go to health-science-spirit.com. Research from George Last shows that common sugar will cure a cold and even influenza. Also, if you want to shorten the duration of a cold get some zinc acetate lozenges (called Zinx). Google this for more info. They work, I've used them successfully a couple of times. Once at the first sign I took them and it never developed, another after a day of symptoms I took them (one dissolved in the mouth every two hours) and it was gone in two days with the symptoms greatly diminished. Interesting you should say that Bob - as a child with an annual flu and one time pneumonia I only ever wanted, craved, my mother's lemon drink, made with a heap of common white sugar and fresh lemons it always helped. Now I take Aconite 12x or 30c and or Ferr Phos 6x (homeopathic preps) which ever is closest and I never get colds, flu or any URTIs (upper respiratory tract infections) however, different people need different remedies, those may not work for everyone. Re: CSOil of Oregano and colds/the sugar cure!
My 'everything but the kitchen sink' routine when I feel that first throat/nasal 'tickle' is oscillococcinum, CS, Sambucol (original formula) and Vit C. Except for the Vit C, I give it about 15 minutes between taking each product, holding them in my mouth as long as possible. And, knock on wood, I haven't had a cold in quite a few years now. I use the same on hubby and it works for him too. Just getting him to let me know when he feels that first tickle is the trick..lol. When I have been around someone with a cold, even if I don't feel like I am coming down with something, I often take a few doses of Airborne for a day or so, just as a precaution.Lola H. CSRe: Polio
My Aunt was three years old when she got polio in 1910.She survived, but with a leg deformity and sterile. She lived to a very ripe old age with a recurrence of polio in her 70s.I never knew if she had been given the Small-pox vaccine.Would not be surprised though. My grandparents were homesteading in Nebraska with a native tribe adjoining,Otoe,if I remember right. An awful lot of years since I heard the story, Harold From: silver-digest-requ...@eskimo.com Sent: Monday, December 31, 2012 6:53 PM To: silver-dig...@eskimo.com Subject: silver-digest Digest V2012 #540
Re: CSRe: Polio
in relatively recent years, it has been found that people who survived polio infections when they were young became subject to a recurrence of it much later in life. I am not sure whether this is presented as an actual infection, or with merely an intensified weakening of the affected body part. One must take care to consider all possibilities before arriving at a firm conviction. Personally, I doubt that the smallpox vaccine would be implicated with polio issues, but I'd be open to persuation.
