CSWASP STING

2004-06-21 Thread Roy
The wasp is a very bad critter! I also got a sting from a black and deep wine
red wasp. While sitting watching tv at my Sisters House in Texas, I felt
something crawling on the back of my neck just behind the left ear. Of course I
immediately grabbed it with my left hand and threw it on the floor. Before I
could turn loose of it, he got me on the inside of my left forefinger! It felt
like it was a hot poker or a smashed finger! Since I keep the CS close by at
all times, I just sprayed the sting and kept it wet for a while and the pain
went away immediately! No swelling or any more problem. Maybe I was just lucky,
but I think the silver did the good deed of taking care of it

CSpatent information

2004-06-04 Thread Roy
Hello!

I have just read some of the patent info and it is very interesting. It is a
very expensive situation to get a patent quickly. As you state, some things are
stolen by others and just a small feature added and resubmitted.
I was interested in getting a patent on a device I developed and contacted the
patent office. This was about 30 years ago. I was informed that I could
initiate a search but it would be quite expensive to go through all the
material necessary to get a complete patent. Also, they provided (at that
time) information on the safety of your work while in the patent search. I
don't know if this (following) is still in effect or not but here is what they
told me
#1 DATE and Copy all your drawings, charts , photos, etc. Pack in a large
manilla envelope and mail (by first class) to : INTENT TO DISCLOSURE DEPT.,
Bureau of Documents, Washington DC. They would keep the envelope for up
to 3 years while you were completing your processes. If in the case someone did
try to use or steal your product, design, work, or ?? You have the oppertunity
to bring them to trial and call or write the Disclosure Dept. letting them know
that you needed your material. It would be returned to you UNOPENED, which you
should not open until it is your time to provide evidence at the trial. Present
the unopened envelope to the Judge and anything inside is proof at that date
(being same as on envelope) would be proof of your property.

I hope this is of some help to anyone interested, being a newcomer I am not
accustomed to all the proceedures and hope this post is not in any way
obtrusive. (an no, I didn't get the patent! was too expensive at that time) The
same idea came out about 15 monthe later with just a little change of my
design! I had made the mistake of talking to several people while in testing
the unit when I should have kept my mouth shut!
Regards,
Roy

Re: CSCS and Soft Contact Lenses

2003-10-04 Thread Roy Thompson

I seem to recall being told when I first bought contacts that I shouldn't get
water on them. Something about water that would cause them to discolor. Not
sure how true that is though. Logic would have it that if this were true that
the distilled water in CS might cause the same problem. But I really don't know
for a fact how that would turn out. I just thought it might be worth
mentioning. Maybe others would have more experience with using CS on their
contacts. I am curious to know more about this one myself.

Hi Ruth - I am not a scientist, or as scientifically knowledgable as a lot of
people on this list, but I would advise against using cs while the lenses are
in the eyes. I read on the list a while back where a man said the dentist told
him someone had filled his tooth, which wasn't the case, he was just drinking
cs. If that is a possibility with the teeth, I would think it might collect on
the lens and cause problems to the eyes.

I could be wrong and if anyone wants to speak up, please do. But that's just
my opinion.

Valid question Roy. The only limitation you have to observe is the
picture and your message has to stay under the 4 byte message size
limit for the list server. To be safe, make sure your pic is around 30
 kilobytes or less.

This shouldn't be overdone, but an occasional graphic or picture is
 acceptable.

Okay. Here is the link for the picture. I hope it works fine.

What the picture shows is a pattern on the side of the jar. It goes from the

Jack,

It used to be a safe practice believing that NOT opening or executing an
attachment as being a foolproof protection against viruses. There is a whole
new series of viruses out there floating around in the computer world now. They
are programmed in more modern languages and make use of more flaws and
vunerabilities that exists in windows and e-mail programs. Some of the more
current ones can make use of programming weakness and execute themselves
without any help from the recipient. The best and only defense is to have a
good antivirus program and keep it updated regularly. It also doesn't hurt to
be wary of opening attachments from someone you don't know since some old
viruses are probably still getting passed along. Most of the current viruses
make use of friends addess book e-mail address to pass themselves along. It is
a slick way of making you feel more confident about that file you're supposedly
receiving from a buddy. I scan everything that I receive from everyone.

Re: CSCS Making Help

2002-09-23 Thread Roy Thompson

Martha,

I am not an expert at making CS. I am sure there are others here that have much
more knowledge about this than me. All I can say is that everything I have read
and been told is to make CS with distilled water. Nothing has to be added as
far as I hear from most of everyone. It doesn't take anything added for CS to
start being made in distilled water. Sometimes I hear of others using a little
bit of already made CS when making a new batch. I don't think that is
absolutely necessary though. It just helps speed up the process a bit. I am
sure others will soon post and agree about using distilled water though.

  Subject: CSCS Making Help

  Hello,
I am new to making CS, and have made my own generator out of alligator
clamps, wire, and a 27 volt ac/dc plug (husband helped make it). :-)
Anyway, I have read several sites that say they use spring water instead
of distilled water, because spring water has everything in it, where as
distilled water you need to add baking soda to get the silver started.
So, I decided to use spring water to make my CS so I wouldn't have to add
stuff to the water. I tested the spring water and the TDS meter shows 143 on
the meter. (is this the ppm?).
I also tested the CS when it was finished with the TDS meter and it
showed 117 (is this the ppm?).
Why would the ppm go down after making CS? Wouldn't it make sense that
the number would go up and not down?
I read that heating the water makes a higher ppm of CS than using water
that is room temperature. So I heated the water, and then put the homemade
generator together and started it. You could see that the silver was coming
off the silver wire, and the other wire was turning a slight greyish black
color.
You can also see the silver floating around in the water after the
generator was unhooked (the process stopped). The water is a little cloudy.
When you drink it, it taste a little bitter. So you would still figure that
the number on the TDS meter should read higher, instead of lower.
I was on another forum for those making CS, and someone told me that I
needed to use the distilled water instead of the spring water. They also said
that I needed to get on here and talk to others that make CS to get more
information, since their forum had more or less died out.
I hope someone on here can help me.
  Thank you very much,
  Martha

Perhaps the hands just being exposed to water all the time has a lot to do with
it. I've gotten my hands wet off and on, and being out in the wind (especially
cold weather) causes them to become dry and chapped. I have even seen little

I am not saying this is the condition being discussed on here. I just thought

  Morning James,

Maybe it is not a pathogen, but an allergic reaction to fish stuff. Do all
workers get it, or only some of them?
Maybe it is not the fish but the water. Has anyone looked into that?

A lot of things are happening when one keeps his hands wet all the time.
The cell walls will weaken and break. Any bacteria has an open door.

Bacteria cannot penetrate a healthy cell wall, or a dry cell. When the
skin stays wet for extended periods, natures defenses have been destroyed.

If we had any old commercial fishermen on the list, they would have chimed
in by now.

While I have not lived the life of a commercial fisherman, I did in fact
work on a shrimp boat one summer. The guys I was working with had many years
experience and wisdom to draw from.

We did in fact have trouble with our hands from time to time. Of course
the salt water was more harsh and toxic than fresh water.

LORDY! Please don't dump silver into a fish tank or pond, folks!

You probably took out whatever cooperative bacteria the fish depends
on internally as well as stressed the whole pond, Andy.

I hope that it wasn't because of me that you treaded into this alleged grey
area. Someone was asking about CS generators. I simply spoke about being
pleased with the one I bought. Honestly I didn't see where you committed any
violation of rules by answering some of the product issues I asked about.

  With some enthusiasm.
Amittedly, the end result can be a fine distinction regardless of intent.

Feeling a bit in a grey area lately wondering where the line is.
I think the thread has died off now. ;-)

Re: CSQuestion, COYOTE ZENTERPRIZES AUTOMATIC COLLOIDAL SILVER GENERATORS ????

2002-08-27 Thread Roy Thompson

I bought the Coyote Zenterprizes (silverpuppy) generator awhile back. I wish
that I'd bought the one with the stirrer, but I am very pleased with the CS
generator I have. I wish that I'd ordered the canning jar model though. I
may try and see if I can neatly cut out a hole in a canning lid to just fit
the diameter of the generator so that it could be inserted and just screwed
onto top of canning jar.

I agree with you about the heater lamp making a difference. I ordered and
received it just recently and pleased with how well it does.

The electric guts you're offering free on request, Is that like the parts to
build the heater/lamp that you've got for sale on the web site? Or is it
something entirely new that you're offering? Far be it from me to turn down
anything free in this day and age, but if it is the same heater/lamp as the
one I just bought it would just be greedy of me to ask for same thing. Just
curious...

Being the owner of that site, I'll not make comment, except to note that
using the heater/lamp with the $75 generator does wonders for simple and
repeatable operation. Thermal stirring really does make a big difference
but it will work without it, or you can make your own setup with a desk
lamp or a night light etc.
It took a year of searching to find a source for the lamps after finding
and using one from a thrift store. But, the darned heater things are
overpriced. [My end of that $15 barely makes it worth putting it in a box
 after paying the shipping]
I'm working on making my own in order to bring that price down,
hopefully
low enough to include one with every generator without raising the price
very much. Till then, I will include the electrical guts to make your
 own, on request, for free.

Re: CSReal CS Questions

2002-06-17 Thread Roy

Silver? There are many places on the internet to order it. I cannot think of
any place right off the top of my head. I am sure many people have sites they
could offer from which to order it.

The first place I bought my silver wire from was a jewelry store. You could
just go to a local jewelry store and order (buy) some silver wire from them. It
would probably cost a bit more than ordering it from somewhere else. Just make
certain you get pure silver. I believe that I had to order a foot of silver
wire when i got mine at the jewelry store.

Thanks for all of the answers and info for my last questions. My boyfriend
has decided to try the recipe from Marshalee (thanks for posting it),

Where do you get the silver from?

Also, I suspect I may have candida overgrowth. I know CS can kill Candida but
does anyone have experience that it will work without going on the strict
candida diet? If I start taking it regularly, while cutting my sugar intake
down, etc... how will should this work? This also leads me to question the
mother who lost weight from CS. There are conditions, I believe Candida for
one, that may prevent weight loss. If the CS was killing off the candida and
the body was getting back in balance, the weight might start coming off without
the person knowing it was related to an underlying condition?!?!?!? What are
your thoughts?

Re: CSCS/sunburn

2002-06-16 Thread Roy

Sylvia,

I think this is a great idea you brought up. For everyone to post about
current (and especially past) problems that have been treated and alleviated
with CS. I'd like to hear more success stories myself.

I guess that I've only got one reoccuring illness to report. I used to get a
sinus infection at least once every year. And I mean it was like a guarantee
that it would happen every year. And it would linger on and on for a month
or more.

I started taking very small doses of CS. And I didn't take it on a regular
and orderly schedule either. Mostly because I just learned about it, how to
make my own, and frankly I was afraid to take much of it because I didn't
trust and believe in my own abilities to make it properly. I never knew much
about chemistry and all that stuff. So, I was worried that I'd done
something wrong and was going to poison myself. :-)

I cannot recall how long it has been since I've had the sinus infection
though. I think the last time the sinus infection happened I was taking so
many different things to get rid of it. Vitamin C, Garlic tablets,
Echinacea, Colloidal Silver, and even Kroger's brand of Nite-Time cold
medicine. I am not sure if one thing or a combination of all things cured it
that time. But, I know something has prevented it from returning like it
usually does. And it does make me wonder a little. Since CS is all I am
taking now. Not on a frequent and orderly schedule, of course.

I'm curious if anyone would share their problematic symptoms
and possible causes from their past histories rather than some diagnosis
which gets into a debate on treatment drugs from doctors
which I don't really want to hear.
We may be able to share
more experience on dosages and long term effects.

An old problem of mine:

I am using it to help heal tissues on my face from
an extremely bad 3rd degree sun burn I had in my teens.
Since my 40's I notice my skin thinning and reddening easily.
A dermatologist warned me to expect cancer.
I have heard several people developed skin cancer from
long term sun exposure.

My skin has been getting red spots that have healed quickly and
I think I may be letting go of some pathogens or toxins.
Some moles even got red and swelled up and disappeared.
The past few days I have been putting CS directly on my face.
I'm using 10ppm CS. There have been posts about CS helping
damaged tissue heal faster. I will be looking for changes.

Anyone have similar experiences or
can you share your symptom d'jour,
Sylvia

Dear list... does anyone know if this is true. Did you know that
every bottle of reverse osmosis, distilled, or de-ionized water sold in
Europe contains a skull and crossbones on the label? Do you know that
the European label states that these waters are only to be used for
steam irons and batteries, and not to be given to pets? If Europeans
won't drink these waters or feed them to their pets, then do you really
think it's okay for you to drink them? ..
The statement comes from a site that is selling water treatment
Gizze's. I've posted two folks I know, one in Prague and one in Germany
and ask them to see if this is true there. If you know someone in Europe
you could ask, or are in Europe and could post back to the list, I would
be most interested to hear from you. Thanks
