RE: CSSore throat
Hi,Jason,Ruth Yes I also regularly feel this same sensation. My understanding is, formed from what i read a couple of years back, in a document written by Dr Bob Becker i think, is that cs is an astringent similar to lemon juice and (other astringents), i cant remember which others inparticular were mentioned, but anyway, apparently astringents cause a contracting of the cell walls that make up body tissue which constricts the pores in skin and body tissue. this may be one reason why cs is so effective against acne, leaky gut, weeping sores, and in situations where bacteria and virus's are trying to infiltrate the skin membrane. i always picture it like a clean up and tightening of all the cells bits.a bit like a service for your car. anyway thats my understanding i enjoy this feeling as i picture all the good being done. i should chase up the document it was quite interesting and better explained than this little effort of mine. maybe others have comments. RE: CSAngels CS problems
Hi Terry i also thought it funny that Angel said that the rods were wearing down , if there wasn't actually alot of cs being produced, but i thought it might have been a mistake, as the silver cannot just disappear. I find it strange that there would be any noticable change in the rods over a short period of time as i can use mine for several months before i can see any significant change in rod thickness. and surely if Angel was producing stronger cs but failing to get a correct reading as to the ppm, the silver would have discoloured the water to some extent. you make mention of the inaccuracies involved with using TDS meters to measure ppm could you pass on some information to me about this as i use a TDS meter to test for ppm and would like to learn more, any links you have would be a help if you dont mind. If you are *wearing down* your silver rods, it is working. The rods don't *wear down*, they dissolve. If they are dissolving quickly, your water is getting plenty of silver. I think the issue may be in what you think you are getting. You said it was 3-4 ppm. How did you arrive at this number? The only way I know of accurately measuring ppm is with a spectrophotometer, which I assume you don't possess. The readings you get with a TDS or PWT meter are not ppm, and must be translated into ppm using various formulas which are not dependably or consistently accurate. I had a sample of my CS tested by a local Industrial testing laboratory some time back and was told it was 5 ppm. I KNEW that was wrong, so I had them test it again. They said, Oh Yeah, sorry, it is actually 7 ppm. I sent some of that same batch to Old Bob, and he pronounced it to be 18.7 ppm, very small particle size. I asked him why the difference in testing results, and he said the lab near me didn't know how to test for the nanosilver portion (what he called 'ionic'). -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2006 10:24:39 -0400 Osiyo Nigadv! Hello Everyone! I am retired and purchasing an automatic commercial generator is on my fuutre long-range plans. I did a survey of the three top commercial units and chose the Silver Puppy just because of Ode's price's. It appears that all the units sold are very good and comparable. But I could not wait and could not afford to buy CS so I made my own unit I have been using for over a year now. I took a CD player transformer rated at: 5 VDC and 750 mA, cut of the jack, stripped the wires and attached two alligator clips. I bought 12 inches of 14 ga .999 silver wire on-line, cut in half and added a 1/4 bend on one end for my electrodes. I cut off the bottom of a powdered drink concentrate plastic container and drilled two 14 ga holes in it at the width of the quart (sm) mason jar I am using. The indentations on the plastic bottom just fit the mason jar lip opening so it would not slip around. I put the electrodes thru the lid, connected the clips to the bent electrodes and plugged the transformer in. I tried to measure the current with my Fluke meter and it was so low my 300 mA scale would not show any reading. Using Wal-Mart distilled water it took about 8 hours to develop a light golden color with fuzz on the electrodes. Hearing from others it appeared that I had just made some very good homemade CS at about 15 to 20 ppm. -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. RE: CSbetter generator?
hi i am from australia, i have been making cs for about 6 years now i dont think there is any reason to buy a generator to make high quality cs i use a wall plug power supply, like a phone charger that creates a current of about 1 milli amp (the lower the amperage, the smaller the silver particles, and the greater the effectiveness of the cs) i make my cs in demineralised water which takes longer but again produces smaller particles. i have bought a TDS meter to test ppm, cost me about $25 aud and i have made up to 30 ppm(by accident) although im sure it could go higher but there is no point as it becomes less effective at high levels. I use cs at 10ppm or just under for ingestion as i find the metallic tast is less at about 8ppm. Im sure you can make a simple generator your self, on this page http://www.silverwell.com.au/ they have many instructions on the: (FREE DIY DESIGNS ) page ,the button is in the left hand column about half way down. i find home made systems have been more reliable for me than the generators that i have bought in the past. hope this helps nathan From: toreadpeoplehealthi...@gmail.com Reply-To: silver-list@eskimo.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com CC: angelzi...@gmail.com Subject: CSbetter generator? I want higher ppms and this was one of the reasons I chos the Silver Puppy, but since the Silver Puppy isn't able to produce that, I'm asking for recommendations on other brands/units that are more reliable in producing specific ppms. hello everyone, does anybody know what happens when you mix Sodium Chlorite and cs in your system together. i am thinking about using this product http://neveranoutbreak.com/store/bol_oxygen.php to raise my Ph levels or make my system more alkaline and less acidic but i am worried about the mention of Sodium Chlorite sounds to me that it might mix with cs to form some type of unwanted colloidal salt compound. or would it be alright to use the two together but taken at diferent times maybe, giving each a chance to work and not create a conflict of interests any advice appretiated kind thanks nathan -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. hello my name is Nathan, i use home made ionic collloidal silver regularly and have done for 5-6 years now i love it and always find it speeds my recovery by a phenominal rate i have recomended it to my family and some close friends, hesitantly. Which has proven to be beneficial to them also. i believe that i have a fairly good understanding about how it works. but what i really dont understand is why there seems to be no available lab test results or definitive studies that have been undertaken to prove (or disprove) even the most basic benfits involved with its use, that i can find or maybe i am just not looking in the right places. Please let me know if you know of any. the medical profession seems to have its head under a rock when it comes to the use of cs always giving the standard reply that it can cause argyria. which as far as i can tell is only associated with silver salts like silver nitrate and silver chloride. Maybe i am miss informed but to me these things seem to be arguements that could be laid to rest once and for all with some simple testing. It escapes me how the issue of wether or not cs works or if it has any side effects has never really been outlined in any official report. may be i am wrong in what i am writing but i am looking for some good answers about cs some facts some proof by someone that has 'credit' among the medical profession. i have all the proof i need to use it for my self daily but it just seems such a waste that i cant tell my neighbours ' here are the facts about cs.' instead i have to say 'well here is what somebody said is true about cs it may or may not be true youll just have to try it and see.' What a cop out, in a world that deals in nanotechnology and rocket science, gene manipulation and world wide cyber comunication, you wouldnt think it would be too hard to get some straight answers about what cs does or doesn't do. In my mind the benefits are astounding and maybe thats what they are afraid of, that it might replace some of the reliance we have on the beat up fanfare that the mecical establishment is today. roll up roll up come and get your drugs, but you cant stay here because we have no beds because everybodies sick, and getting sicker. oh and by the way watch out for the next superbug virus as you go out the door, because we cant treat that yet but as soon as we can, and we have patented the vacine, we will put it on your list of crap to take. at a small fee of course. have a nice day. wouldnt it be nice if they used cs in hospitals even if it was just used as a topical application on patients with cuts, burns, wounds, or infected tissue, or for those recovering after surgery to reduce scarring. it would have to speed up some patients recovery by days if not weeks in some cases. freeing up some of that valuable bed space. i wonder what they would do if you tried to apply it to a patient in a hospital ward probable throw you out, say its not proven to work, i dont know. anyway i am tired of ranting. seriously if anyone knows of some serious data either for or against the use of cs please point me in the right direction so i dont have anything to rave about anymore thanks ps sorry about taking up too much of your time. the search goes on -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
