Hi PT,
I just want to mention that sometimes people mistake allergies or hay fever for
a cold and flu.
I had this very experience some years ago, when I suddenly developed hay fever.
I could not understand why the CS was not stopping my 'illness' at that time. I
was fortunate that MSM knocked out my hay fever immediately, and so the instant
feedback made it easy for me to verify the causes of my condition. I first
realized my allergy problem because I was only 'sick' in Tokyo, and never in
NY. This situation persisted, predictably with the allergy seasons, for several
years.
I have since then rid myself of hay fever through improved gut health. The onset
of new allergies can often lead to false positives or false negatives, so it is
something to keep in mind; especially in our increasingly polluted world :-(

For the eye drops Harold said to add 10% of MSM to CS.  He suggested using it
to stop cataracts, so I have been using it for a long time...I must add when I
was on a stupid anti-depressant I had too many instances of little veins in my
eyes breaking and blood would show inside that clear film that is on the eye
ball looked like someone backhanded me...the drops don't sting either.

I seem to recall someone mentioning this issue a long time ago on one of the
silverlist threads. I believe if you add msm to the CS eyedrops it will
penetrate deeper into the tissue and you will have better results. Not sure
about the ratio maybe 10-20% msm. Some folks have added DMSO as well which is
stronger and deeper penetrating.
