Perfect for making Silver Gel.
Gel Kit is available from Ode-wan KENobi, the Puppy master.

Subject: CSRun Away Puppy

Hi all,
My Silver Puppy accidentally ran for days without me noticing. The result
is one completely black electrode, one very gray one, and a floating cloud
of grayness (silver) in the water.
1) Any suggestions on how to clean the electrodes. 2) Is the very heavily
silver-laden water salvageable in some way?

TIA, Beth T

If you like to experiment, you could take a small quantity and dilute it
with distilled water, say 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 (over-brewed CS to distilled
water) and then add a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide. If it clears it should be
good for mouth rinsing, or used to sterilize things, etc.

This is a harmless effect that just wastes some of your
silver.

The water has reached saturation (equilibrium for the
process) and the anode has become oxidized (by oxygen pulled
out of the water by the electric current) while the cathode
has been plated with silver crystals representing all the
silver removed from the anode after saturation occurred.

Just filter the water through a paper towel or coffee
filter, to remove the large particles of silver and silver
oxide. Wipe the loose particles from your electrodes with a
paper towel and reverse the connections to them, next time.

You just lost a few cents worth of silver.

Hi Beth,
I once mistakenly left my puppy on 'manual' and this happened after too long a
time forgotten. Anytime I have questions about my CS, I put it in an urn for
topical use only. Makes a good hair rinse occasionally for dandruff, etc. or
rinse for rashes.
As for cleaning the electrodes, while they're wet, simply rub them gently with
a dry Bounty towel, which seems to be abrasive enough without removing too much
silver. This will bring them back to a dull gray, which works well.
Be well,
Léna
