Hi, Christian,

Sorry to bother you again, but the version of Skim I get at the link

http://skim-app.sourceforge.net/Skim.dmg

is 1.4.8 (82), created today at 12:47 AM, with 9,874,542 bytes (11.7 MB on
disk). But it still crashes in the same way when trying to open a pdf file.
Please let me know if I should use a different link.

Thanks a lot, and sorry again for all the hassle,

Artemio

I cannot imagine it crashes the same way, because now I really removed all
these calls. Perhaps your downloader cashed the previous one?

There should now be a new version at the same place with version 1.4.8r8359.

 Hi, Christian,

I also downloaded Xcode 6, so I could try to build Skim from source and try
it out (just give me a few pointers as to how to proceed, I don’t use Xcode
 much).

I also put a test version based on the current source at
