[SLUG] Re: svg to png rendering

To my many respondents, on and off list.

Of the FOSS suggestions, none worked, at least straight away.

Erics suggestion may well work, with a 21meg svg file, not something I
was going to rush to try.

A mate owns a copy of closed source app. He was able to render this in
about 5 minutes, along the the usual jibes I had to endure with the FOSS
tools not doing the job.

My apologies for the delayed response. Being on site I had no email.

Why the FOSS tools failed, is something I'd like to find out. But right
now I have a shiny png file, so I can keep working.

Thanks again.

Regards,

Ashley

[SLUG] spam assasin 'rcvd' tag q

2007-05-31 Thread Voytek Eymont
I've just looked at a header of an email I've sent and it has like:
( see below)

if I understand this properly, my server's SA is marking my own email as
'almost spam' on the basis of ISP's dynamic IP as originating IP, yes ?

is this something I should worry, that my mail, as it leaves my own
server, is 'almost spam' ?
does this X-Spam rating gets considered by other servers further down ?

presumably, had I used ISP's SMTP, I would avoid this?

[SLUG] 2. Re: photo/graphics processing SIG anyone? (Matthew Hannigan)

2007-05-31 Thread Sharon Doig
Hi Matthew and Pascal,

I live in Canberra and doing a Certificate in Creative Photography at ANU.

I would be interested in a discussion list devoted to photographics processing.
Currently, I am using Bibble lite, Gimp, Digikam to organise and process my
images for university and cash projects.

Thanks
