[SLUG] Linux and Fusion HDTV

2007-08-14 Thread Kevin Saenz
I have a Fusion HDTV card since 1999 it's been running beautifully on linux
since installing it on Mandrake 10. I was able to view 2 channels or watch
one channel and record another at the same time with it. Now I have decided
to upgrade my system now I am stuck with only 1 channel ability, I can only
either watch 1 channel or record. Does anyone know why?

The driver I used was from linuxtv.org way back when I was running Mandrake.
I have switched Distros so far for my mythtv I have finally landed on
mythdora. I found Gentoo great but it's wasn't good enough for my Mythtv
setup. Then I tried knoppmyth it was close but no cigar. mythdora has all
the functionality I need but I want my PiP that I had in my old mandrake
days

Including a small snippet about it is polite at a minimum.

In this case its not just OT, its completely unrelated to linux and at
best belongs on slug-chat with a topic like 'howard and water scam' or
something.

Or were you spamming us and we should blacklist you?

Hi Bill,
I had heaps of problems with ATI cards using the open source drivers and
could never get the proprietary ones installed so I ended up buying an
nVidia card (agp card). I hope you have better luck.
