i think dd-wrt has auto, which will (afaik) make it try to find a clear
channel

You could also see what channel it is operating on, if there are people
next door (say you live in a unit), which are using wireless, which is
almost certain these days. If say they are on channel 9, you should not
be using any channel near that plus/minus 2 or 3, for example you could
try 6 or 12. The easier option is just to try a bunch of channels and
do a test copy.

just curious if anyone can recommend a great snmp browser.
something that can load mibs, walk snmp agents, send sets to agents etc.
even perhaps diff'ing walks and sending traps

[SLUG] Adobe

2008-08-19 Thread jam
Adobe are anal in their fussing!

LightRoom 2
US$299 but you have to register with a US address to purchase
AU$570
(both for a net download)

My wife has a uni student card, one of the girls in her camera club has got a
student edition ($149), but I cannot find out where I can purchase (student
edition)
Anybody have any clues.

My query to Adobe (we will answer in 1 business day) remains unanswered after
a week.

Thanks
James

PS this looks like a very promising contender
