Hi Bill,

I have RH7.0 in my Thinkpad 600X.

works well, picked up USB,sound X, the whole bit on default install.

RH and thinkpads seem to mix well.

IBM is working on it - they seem to have released binary RPMs for
kernels 2.2.14 and 2.4.0. Details here:

I have Linux running on my Thinkpad 600E without problems. It runs in both
command mode and X without any worries at all.

Caveats:

I've never bothered to get the internal modem working, as I have a
network/modem card - I think it can now be done, but I'm not 100% sure.
