I have experimented with running various apps such as Thunderbird, Firefox and Sweep under KDE and Gnome. The toolbar font sizes of all three are tiny under KDE and I can't find any way of enlarging them (Thunderbird and Firefox have fontsize change options but this does not affect the toolbar font size). Under Gnome, the toolbar fontsizes of Thunderbird and Firefox respond to the Gnome fontsize settings, but not Sweep, which offers no font size control.
So.. is there a standard way of changing apps font sizes in Linux; failing that, can I get access to the Gnome settings while KDE is running, and if so can they be made to operate while KDE is managing the desktop ? If I run a mix of KDE, Gnome and Other apps how can I get some fontsize consistency ?
thanks
