I use an NSP Hi Start largest size for everything from 2 meter up to a
Graphite and it works fine even in near zero wind. Not as quick as a
winch but much less hassle when alone.

Wondering..would an NSP Pinnacle Hi Start work for a 2M? ( 50-75 ft red
rubber, and 400 of line)?

I use a catapult-like set-up for my 3M planes.
It consists of 50' of red hobby-lobby 1/2" rubber-
DOUBLED and a 25' piece of 200# test monofiliment.
John's setup works very well, I have used it to good effect.
I personally use 25 ft of the 5/8" OD thick wall stuff, with
NO LINE. Gives 80% of the launch height of John's
setup with 1/3 the walking. 45 second hang time with no
wind/no lift. Perfect for landing practice. Launch height
improves mucho with some wind.
(this is the "flutter ANY foamie on boost" rubber, FYI)
