Poway definitely has some good DS depending on conditions. You may want to explore Torrey Pines a little. South of the hanglider port/shack there is a ridge the seems like it would work well in a decent breeze. We flew it in light winds (6mph) and could do continues circles. I'll bet it's awesome when it blows in the spring time. Anyone tried this spot when it's blowing good? I work a couple of days a week at Camp Pendleton, which has plenty of REALLY good looking DS spots, but I don't think they would let me fly there. I hear Poway is O.K. for DS as well. What about smaller hills? My DS spot out near Atl, GA. was a dam, but had 40+ feet on the back-side before the water, this was DS'able, although small, for foamies and stuff. >> RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
