[Soekris] I see development of the net6801 has been dropped.
I just saw the news on soekris.com This is very unfortunate. I was looking forward to it, as my net6501-70 has been having trouble keeping up with my fiber connection. Are there any other plans to release something more powerful than the net6501-70? ___ Soekris-tech mailing list Soekris-tech@lists.soekris.com http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech

Here I am starting to see ads for 300 Mbps fiber and the old hardware just won't do for that. It's been managing about 70 Mbps on my 100 Mbps line, so it definitely won't do for the next bandwidth upgrade. The page cites cost issues, but I do not think people buy such things because they are cheap. Among other things, I am looking for something more flexible and reliable than my ISP's router, which needs power cycling every few weeks, and I am willing to pay extra for that. Besides, Lanner seems to have something out already. ___ Soekris-tech mailing list Soekris-tech@lists.soekris.com http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech

By the way, what is the comparable ARM hardware? I tried searching but I keep finding Raspberry Pi and such stuff. ___ Soekris-tech mailing list Soekris-tech@lists.soekris.com http://lists.soekris.com/mailman/listinfo/soekris-tech
