Hello everybody,

Got the problem: Nothing to do with windows.

Lavasoft Adaware Web Companion is the time thief!

Don´t know where I caught this and why on both machines but ...

It is reproducable: after Installation SI won´t start, as soon as you 
uninstall it, everything´s ok!

PS: Why I assumed it could be Windows 10: In the Anniversary update 
there was something changed so my Banking Software stopped to work. This 
was confirmed by the vendor.

SI on Windows 10 with anniversary update not working anymore?

Hi List,

If I am right Softimage 2015 SP2 won´t start on actual Windows 10 +
anniversary update anymore. Tested on my Workstation and my Notebook. On
Startup I get a "Failed to save scene before system failure". Visual
Studio Debugger says something with combase.dll, dont know if relevant,
I am not a developer...

Can somebody confirm this issue? Any workarounds other then back to Win 7/8?

Reinstallation didn´t help...

This moment came faster than expected...
