Re: animation editor display error

2020-06-08 Thread Nicole Beeckmans-Jacqmain
no it does not solve the issue, i'have also run a runonce bat and deleted
preferences to no effect
a guy on facebook told me it could be a graphic card driver related issue
so i kind of have given up as i can manage the hassle to "edit blindly"
and zoom with the wheel to check what change it did on the fcurve
(sorry for my continuous non-professionalism on such a forum)
i could of course re-install softimage but as i don't master nothing once
we talk about technology
i 'll wait to be very old to read the softimage manuals from Alpha to Omega
and work thru the understanding
as everyone else does.
but thank you!

Re: May 30th, 2010: 20th Anniversary of XSI 1.0

2020-06-08 Thread Pierre Schiller
Luc-Eric, Natron desperatedly needs some help. It's an open source
compositor with a very active user base in Facebook. :)

Senior of User Interface design? Fantastic! Even after 20 years, I keep
opening Softimage elegantly and being "up to date" because of UI.
Yesterday, I was fiddling around with the graphic profiler (the UI where it
shows the scene and graphic time loads).

The shader wizard, the plugin manager, the file search/replace...

All of that, a standard now, but back then: breaking milestones.

#LongLiveSoftimage

Best regards.

I did do other things than the fx tree. I was the user interface senior,
then team leader, and later the development manager of the product. I'll
probably retire someday and make an open-source compositor/painter nobody
will use, just for the satisfaction to complete that chapter of my lif.
Because it does feel unfinished and that's annoying.

Re: animation editor display error

2020-06-08 Thread Luc-Eric Rousseau
I've answered this before, I cannot recall the details.
The changes you see are probably due to the face robot plugin being loaded
and changing user prefs
I think you need to disable facerobot and save the scene again.
There is some explanation for the UI for that here:
