Re: Malcom Rig 2.0 For Softimage

Out of curiosity what is the current state of fabric's kraken. That could
prove a brilliant
solution going forward but still using softimage when needed.

Is it production ready? Are people building hybrid rigs or even using it?

Happy new year everyone!!

Sadly we lost the ability to teach Softimage the moment Autodesk announced EOL.

If they had announced end of development it would have been a different matter.

This just highlights the issues of working in Softimage going forward. ☹

But what happened to Softimage version?
Well i talk to Animschool and ask about it. They can do an official
release for Softimage if there's demand for it. So if people are interested
please send big regards to them and ask about it here:
 da...@animschool.com

I would love to work with the update version of this rig for Softimage.
It's nice for practice and non-commercial related stuff.

Yep, I talked with the guys at animschooll back on June of this year. They
said they will stop Malcom for softimage, and their softimage animation
courses.

But if they have given you recent word they will put efforts into bringing

(all though they raised a kickstarter for it *JUST* for maya) then how
would that leave to softimage users?
Anyhow, I´ll drop a line on their mail.
