[Spacewalk-devel] DEB support in Spacewalk
I have the pleasure to inform you that Lukáš Durfina is going to work on DEB support in Spacewalk. He will work on this project as his Master Thesis and he has 3 semesters (1,5 years) for this. Therefore do not expect full support in any upcoming version we have currently in roadmap. Lukáš (_lukas on IRC) knows both Debian and Fedora - which is good qualification for this project. He is not novice in Linux - he already worked on Fullscreen controller, backend for Phonon and Qt improvements for VLC as participant of Google Summer of Code 2008. You can watch his progress and plans on just created page: https://fedorahosted.org/spacewalk/wiki/Deb_support_in_spacewalk Now it is just placeholder, waiting to be populated with relevant data. If you find this project interesting, you can send your patches to Lukaš for review.
