Re: [Spacewalk-devel] Things that needs to be dobne before next release.
There are still quite a few bugs I've found in 2.1 I'm a little busy right now but I should be able to submit bug reports on Sunday here is one I already put in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1048981 and I can confirm as of the latest nightly build it still isn't fixed. I also have found places where the WebUI crashes and sends traceback emails. one place I can think of right of the top of my head is when you try driiling into a monitoring probe /rhn/systems/details/probes/ProbeDetails.do that always crashes in 2.1. and I know there are a few more that crash as well. also this isnt a new bug its been around for a while I just havent had the time yet to figure out if it effects only the WebUI or if it effect the command line as well, when you delete a channel if it has a scheduled reposync it never delets the sync from taskomatic so you get 2 emails one saying that a reposync bundle failed and then an other saying its working again. sofar the only way ive found to fix this when it happens is to go into the database and manually delete the job from the tables. [Spacewalk-devel] Things that needs to be dobne before next release.
Hello spacewalk developers. Quite some time has passed since our last release, so we were thinking about next one. One of things that we see as a blocker is UI. As part of transition towards usage of Twitter Bootstrap 3 we created page [1]. There are still quite a few tasks listed there. Is anybody working on it? Major things that we currently consider release blockers for 2.1 from UI point of view are: * Things from [1] * Date picker * Human readable dates * Confirm pages * Bare-metal systems management Other things we do not consider release blockers, but anyone can happily work on them :-).
