Hi

Feel a bit silly now, the user profile was set to GMT
have changed it to UK seems to be showing the correct
time now, going for another test.

Do I read correctly? ALL jobs are functioning but do not run at the time
scheduled, right?

Then there is an issue with osad and rhnsd on the client is doing the job
(via interval)

You could try to stop osad on one client, remove the "osad-auth.conf"
within /etc/sysconfig/rhn and start it again. It should generate a new
"id". Then try again with a remote command.

2019-05-08 Thread Stephen.Weaver
Hi Robert

I think that worked, sort off, scheduled for 12 noon,
but it ran at 1pm, however Spacewalk web GUI says
scheduled at 12 noon GMT, which would make 1pm
correct as I am currently on BST which is GMT+1
Not sure how the time is set in spacewalk?
the server time is BST as are all the clients

[Spacewalk-list] spacewalk schedule does not run at time specified

2019-05-07 Thread Stephen.Weaver
Hi All

No idea what I have missed or got wrong here.
Spacewalk Server 2.9 all services come up as OK,
OSAD up and running, all clients running Spacewalk client 2.9
OSAD up and running on all clients, updates and reboots
all work with out a problem, but do not at the time specified,
here is an example of a recent schedule, at first I thought it
something to do with the INTERVAL setting, but as I am using
OSAD this should have no effect, or am I mistaken, these
are customer servers, so we inform them when the updates
are happening, but these timing's are making us look incompetent?

Anyone got any ideas?

ScheduleActual
21:00 22:06
21:10 22:15
21:20 22:27
21:30 23:42
21:40 22:48
21:50 22:57
22:00 00:57
22:10 00:42
22:20 23:45
22:30 23:35
22:40 23:45
22:50 23:55
23:00 00:06
23:10 00:17
23:20 00:26

Thanks.
