[Spooks] What happens when propagation is bad?
Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list Just wondering, what do spooks do when propagation is bad or non existent? [Spooks] Odd voice under RNZ National on 15720 KHZ
Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list Hi folks; This isn't exactly a numbers station question but I hear a strange-sounding voice under RNZ National on 15720 KHZ at 04:00 UT. It seems to be repeating the same thing over and over. As best as I could tell with my Kenwood TS-440S, it seems to be on 15722 KHZ USB. I tried but I can't pick out what it's saying. Does anybody know what this station is that's underneath the broadcast station? Re: [Spooks] HAARP Group.
Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list I do not follow HAARP as a habit but I enjoy learning from others about things they know more about than I do. So a separate HAARP data base to me would be my lose. As far as vhf and hf go I don't think it is out of bounds to assume all of us here know the difference enough to know any VHF transmission would need to be a line of site grab . Where id this persons local who claims vhf intercept located? Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2011 04:39:43 -0900 From: ti...@tibor.org To: spooks@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Spooks] HAARP Group. Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list Wow. Consider for a second that the HAARP antenna array is completely unsuited for the VHF frequencies you posted. Perhaps it's presumptuous of me to expect that members of this list understand the difference between HF and VHF frequencies. Any VHF frequencies used by HAARP are almost certainly used for mundane purposes like local security or facilities maintenance. If your friend has logged such transmissions, undoubtedly he's recorded them, right? I would expect them to be something along the lines of, ...dang it Carl, where the heck did you leave the hammer? I eagarly await your links to sound files of Carl and the dramatic saga of his hammer. Re: [Spooks] [OT] good book on crypto?
Visit http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/spooks to unsubscribe from this list You should read The Code Book by Simon Singh it was a good look at the history of encryption. . There are also books which will teach you the basics of deciphering like Codes , Ciphers and Secret Writing by Martin Gardner or Codes, Puzzles and Conspiracy by Dennis Shasha which is a short novel you must decode in order to be able to read .
