I always delete Compilation tags for just this reason. I also never tag AlbumArtist as "Various Artists" So my copy of Birth of the Cool only appears under Miles Davis - this is ok but could be improved. My Uncut cover CDs as an example appear under Various Artists and also under the track artist as LMS recognises albums with multiple artists but no AlbumArtist as compilations even without the compilations tag. Returning to Miles Davis. Ideally the album listing under Miles should be sub divided by Studio, Live & Compilation then listed chronologically by release date then sub sorted by month of release. Unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world. Tnx guys (Michael and Pinkdot) But the strange thing is that it all worked a week ago without a problem. And playing by manual my playlist's are__no_problem_. Only when I want to use them when the alarm goes off. I will try the update of LMS 7.9 for my Synology (Cedarview) anyway. Maybe it will fixed it. That's the version Synology is using for their unofficial Beta package
of LMS. They recently updated the package for DSM6 (which is released
today) to a nightly which was build in February this year. But the older
DSM versions, like DSM 4 and 5, are still using this one.

You could use the LmsUpdate package to see if it will fix the problem,
or update to DSM6 if possible.

- what versions of lms? - webgui or an the player? (its a single click not a double klick) - which player? - any fancy specials for that player? The normal behaviour is prev. track if pressed when the song is <10 sec - if pressed later -> the same song should restart again.
