[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9 switches to mysqueezebox.com playing from favorites
My favorites radios are bookmarked in mysqueezebox.com. In order to not save all my favorites twice, in LMS favorites I just saved an OPML url pointing to mysqueezebox favorites. This trick always worked flawlessly but now, when I try to play a radio bookmarked this way from LMS 7.9, the server switches to mysqueezebox.com while with the previous LMS versions < 7.9 the bookmarked radio was played without having to switch to mysqueezebox.com Is switching to mysqueezebox.com the new expected behaviour when playing radio favorites when pointing to mysqueezebox.com opml? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Perl 5.22 binaries for arm (Ubuntu 16.04)
Hi, unfortunately Logitech Media Server is still not running on my Raspberry Pi with Ubuntu 16.04 ARM. As I can see in git there were perl 5.22 binaries added for i386 and x86_64 but still not for ARM. https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/tree/public/7.9/CPAN/arch/5.22 Is there any way to install the necessary perl binaries on arm or maybe someone could add these binaries? If the streaming station inserts the artist name and track title into the stream - e.g. via Shoutcast protocol - and does it as "artistname - tracktitle" then there is a good chance that LMS (via TuneIn) will show matching artwork. However, given that the particular station that you are talking about is playing classical music and has titles like "Malat : Kurpfalzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim - Mozart : Divertimento E flat major KV 113 IV Allegro" then there is little chance of this matching anything. A custom plug-in could try to work it out assuming that there is a source that could provide the covers.
