Did you enter it on one line? Unfortunately it got broken in to two lines when displayed. Corrected it. If that doesn't work (which I pretty much doubt), you should give us more information about your system. Upload your server.log, follow the steps outlined in some of those other threads to run LMS manually and see why it fails. And report back all error messages you encounter. Things usually don't fail silently. Since the last update I see this error in the LMS log. I cannot see it's impact, because my Additional Browse Modes are working fine. I wouldn't be surprised if it was caused by you "cloning" your installation. Those strings are created dynamically. I'm running LMS 7.75 on WHS v.1 and am quite happy with it. However, I'm tempted to update to 7.9 for the performance enhancement and in order to take advantage of any further development that may happen. I'm curious about the following: On WHS, all updates seem to require uninstalling the previous version before installing the new version. If this is the case, will I lose any settings? I'm using many plug-ins, including many by Erland Isaksson, for which I've paid lifetime licenses. Will these still work? Will the Dynamic Playlists function, which is dependent on SQL Playlists have to be set up again? Or will they work without any adjustment? My files are all encoded as FLAC, and in order to make the indexing work the way I'd like, I have been putting nothing in the ALBUMARTIST field for compilation albums, and removing any COMPILATION= tags. With this combo, all contributing artists show up in the index, which is what I would like. Has this behavior changed? Regarding the support for on-line radio, podcasts, Pandora, etc, I've been concerned that Logitech would end support, so I'm glad to hear this has been solved. My question is whether there is a step-by-step guide as to how to convert from one method to the other? Finally, I find it frustrating that playlists created in LMS and those created in WMP are so close to being the same, and yet are not entirely compatible. I would love to be able to use and edit the playlists in both programs. Any chance that could be on the development list? Thanks so much for keeping this platform alive. I only wish that someone (Microsoft?) would buy it and start making compatible devices again. I already own 4, and would keep adding if I could. In the plugin prefs I have exactly the mentioned entries from the above screenshot. And it worked since this feature was published. I'm running Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6. Recently my squeezebox stopped working because I cannot get Logitech Media Server to run. I click "Start Server", and it says it's starting, then immediately stops. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change. I also installed the new version 7.8 of LMS. How can I troubleshoot this? The only thing I believe that has changed is that I had to reinstall the OS awhile back (I have some intermittent system issues). Thanks for any assistance you can give me. I'm not super familiar with Mac computers as I grew up and worked in the IT field on PC. Since the last update to my LMS, Google Chrome crashes each time I try to watch the full server log. I don't see this behavior when using other web/server pages. In MS Edge everthing is fine. I've put a clone of my LMS on my laptop. Renamed the clone server and thought I'd be happy, because I saved a lot of time in customizing. But from the first usage my radio catch the clone server as the primary one. When I turn of the laptop, they don't switch back to my main LMS :-( I've deleted all player settings in the server config of my clone, but without any change. Any chance to run 2 LMS in the same network without having the this trouble? As a workaround I set the clone LMS start option to manual, because I only need it when I'm not at home.
