Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Missing icon in System Tray
Thanks. Yes I've already got Squeezer ray in the startup list - I can see it there but it's not visible in the tray after boot up. Weird! That's what made me think it might be an 'issue' rather than (my) incompetence Sent from my Samsung Note III StevePalmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42535 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106556 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Missing icon in System Tray
I think you still need to run C:\Program Files (x86)\Squeezebox\SqueezeTray.exe from startup or task scheduler to get the tray icon. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Missing icon in System Tray
Hi guys Just reinstalled the latest version of LMS on my new Win10 PC. All is working fine after a couple of mis-steps with iPLayer, but I was helpfully pointed in the right direction by this Forum :) The only niggle now is that the green LMS 'tray' icon isn't showing in the tray. I know there has been many previous posts about this (including a couple from me a few years back where I solved it by adding the file to the startup group) at http://forums.slimdevices.com/search.php?searchid=2547237 So, I confidently repeated the process on my shiny new PC... and it still doesn't show. I even added it as a 'task on startup'... and it still won't show. Does anyone know whether this is solvable or it's a glitch in LMS under Windows 10? Many thanks! I typically do install the updates however, the reason I posted here this morning is because the update prompt I got this morning errored out during the installation and completely horked Media Server. It migth not be much done if any each day ( check the changelogs ) but it build automatically from the latest code . 7.5 and 7.8 would be stable 7.8.1 and 7.9 gets upgrades . Wohnzimmer Radio, etc. So the basic implementation I currently have works with squeezebox names and does a pretty good job in finding them using fuzzy search on input name against listed names. I'm not sure how it will work with non-English names - we can have a look at that when we get to testing. As a fall-back, the skill will also enumerate all the found devices so it's possible to say 'play squeezebox one'. Also, once a particular device is selected, all subsequent commands will be carried out on that device so it does not need to be named each time. Regarding something like 'Echo - play radio 4' The way skills work, it's necessary to somehow initialise the skill and that requires naming it. At least the first time in a session. I'm looking at ways to mitigate this by leveraging the streaming media ASK command set though this still needs to be tested. meep's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12744 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106149 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
