Say I create a playlist with 55 songs on Tidal. I open the remote app on my iPhone and see only 10 songs, sometimes 23 songs and sometimes full 55 songs. This issue has been reported a few times before. so this might be a strange question... with gcc and compilers in general, do I have to run a command to actually start/initiate the compiler. I did find a how to document and it lists a compiler at http://qnas.pl/tools/arm/qnap_arm_native_compiler-0.16-8.tar.gz but when I try and get it, I get the error file not found so I am wondering if there is an updated version. is there any easy way to query that location to see if there is an updated file which would have a different name? For what it is worth, what I do on my Ubuntu Server using the terminal (or rather, using putty from a Windows PC), is: Code: sudo wget http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.8/sc/89c295b/logitechmediaserver_7.8.1~1406278657_all.deb sudo dpkg -i logitechmediaserver_7.8.1~1406278657_all.deb The first command downloads the deb package, the second command installs it. Whether of not it is the best method, it has worked for me. (Of course that is an old example (for 7.8.1) - the URL and the filename would have to reflect the package you install.) Hello, stupid question but i didn't find the answer since the repository is not anymore available and before doing a mistake, i wanted to know how to upgrade my installation from 7.8 to 7.9.1, i've download the zip logitechmediaserver_7.9.1-1505480690_all.deb and push it to my linux server but now, what should i do? I strictly use Tidal HIFI streaming on my SBT with Rpi3 LMS & DietPi. Say I create a playlist with 55 songs on Tidal. I open the remote app on my iPhone and see only 10 songs, sometimes 23 songs and sometimes full 55 songs. Or, I fav an album on Tidal. The album has 12 songs. I open the remote app, I see only 1 song, 3 songs and sometimes full 12 songs. I'm running LMS on a Raspberry Pi with Debian Wheezy, LMS latest
version.
When I restart my LMS ('service logitechmediaserver restart'), I find
usually a remarkable number of TCP connections marked as "CLOSE_WAIT",
most of them to the players.
Is there a more gracefully way to restart the server, so it would close
the sockets before quitting?

Super enhanced security? Maybe but EVERY call for an external web page now fails to call Chrome! Even from Mail. Set the default to Safari and everything calls up correctly. Apple hijack tricks? Thanks again for that, much appreciated. I plant to upgrade the RAM in the NAS. In the meantime, I have started the process again and find that the LMS doesn't seem to be able to scan beyond 75,000 tracks or so (this is roughly where it stopped last time). I attach copies of server and scanner logs. Are they telling me that the scanning stopped the server connecting because of labelling issues with the music files? Very strange. I reinstalled the LMS server from a JUly version of 7.9.1. It would not call up the (http://localhost:9000/settings/index.html) page. However I have it as a bookmark. Called it up and VOILA! it worked, setting pages and sub pages all work, there for all the plugins. Now BBC iPlayer works, Spotty also. I will report back to see how it progresses. but still having a problem. When I get to the line to go to "../../bin/perl MakeFile.PL" I get the error "../../bin/perl: Director Does Not Exist" Any ideas? Just make sure you point to the actual perl executable file. ok an update. I searched around for the specific "IO:Socket:SSL" and spun my wheel till I installed the Perl Developer package on the QNAP and that gave me the missing "ipkg" command.
