But without access to the web UI this isn't trivial... Just going out on a limb here, but do these lines in the server log mean anything: Code: [17-11-02 11:30:12.6613] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::shutdownPlugin (264) Killing all processes shairport_helper-osx [17-11-02 11:30:12.6611] Plugins::ShairTunes2W::Plugin::shutdownPlugin (264) Killing all processes shairport_helper-osx No matching processes belonging to you were found Is LMS not stopping because it can't terminate the plug-on? Re: Cant start in macOS 10.13.1
That command stops the server, and UI in the preference pane updates itself right away. Restarting the server from the preference pane still doesn't make the web interface work, and the button still doesn't make it stop. dborod's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21049 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108211 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Discnumber higher than 254
Discnumber 254 from 254. Is this a bug? No, by design: the disc field in the database is of "tinyint" type. Which is 0-254. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Disc Number is not a catalogue or description identifier, it refers to which CD in a numbered set as is Disc 2 of 3 for Billy Joel's Greatest hits. I would image that 254 might very well be a limit as I can't even think of a CD bundle with 254 CDs in the set much less 2903. I would use the catalogue number field or some other description field to label and sort them. There is nothing to prevent you from using a number in an alphanumeric field that one usually would think would contain text and then use the numbers you put in that field to sort the audiobooks numerically. *iPhone* Media Room: ModWright Platinum Signature Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Wood Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1, Vandersteen V2W Subwoofer Living Room: Transporter, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Office: Touch with Vandersteen VSM-1s Kitchen: Touch in-wall mount w/ Thiel Powerpoint 1.2s Bedroom: Squeezebox BOOM Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Around the House: SliMP3, SB1, SB2, SB3 Ford Thunderbird: SB Touch, USB drive Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108216 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Run the following: Code: /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/Resources/stop-server.sh What would that give? Check the pref pane. Can you start/stop now? If that doesn't give anything, delete the LMS pref pane and re-install. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Anatomy of a Synology LMS .spk package
Just to be on the save side (I don't know what changed with their latest code, but this was needed before). I did a quick diff between git and their package. There seem to be three "patches" applied: - one actually deals with an issue I've seen myself, but never was able to reproduce. What a pity they didn't provide a patch upstream... - one change to the prefs folder handling, which doesn't come with any comment. Don't know why they changed that (and why that change would be required anyway). - one change to the main skin, hiding the update prompt in the footer. Which would not be required if they had done the customization properly to override the update checking behaviour... Other than that there's certainly tons of leftovers. Files which have been removed or moved. Changes they forgot to apply. I'm actually surprised we didn't see bug reports for some of those, as they missed a fix or two. I'll try get in touch with them to get those issues resolved. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
