Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Autostart on MacOS
An alternative could be to add a little script for startup that just runs /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/slimserver.pl That's what the prefpane would do. Is there anything in server.log? If you set LMS to start at system startup, would you have /Library/LaunchDaemons/Squeezebox.plist? -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Pi 3B+ Joy
Thanks Ronnie, I'm fine. Hope your van is still going strong too. Bought a new (slightly bigger) house and looking for some new ways to fit in some raspberry's here and there. The new 3B+ is certainly on the list but never tried Berryboot. Looks like a nice tool to play with. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Autostart on MacOS
LMS 7.9.1 is not correctly booting (autostarting) on my Mac (MacOS 10.13.5) Even though I selected the option to start server automatically when logging in, it only starts when I manually open the preferences page of LMS. I tried to choose the option to start automatically at system boot, but it doesn't work neither. I have a limited understanding of how the MacOS startup mechanism works, but I do note that the directory /Library/StartupItems does NOT contain a "Squeezebox" directory on my system. Can somebody who has a working configuration let me know if there should be something (and what?) in /Library/StartupItems ? Given the option exists in the pref pane, I would have thought I can use it. An alternative could be to add a little script for startup that just runs /Library/PreferencePanes/Squeezebox.prefPane/Contents/server/slimserver.pl ? dg1sek's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39558 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109068 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
