Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] update LMS using github
It's a MAC running OS X. It is not an update link it is a information banner at the bottom of the LMS web interface. There is a link at the end of the info message that takes me to github but I can not find any .dmg packages or equivalent which is how I've updated in the past. I'm running LMS 7.9.0. What if you went to the LMS preference pane? Would you be given the update prompt? Otherwise just do like you did in the past: download and install from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.1/. -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Sorry. This cited snippet was for LMS in QNAP. I dont know if yours needs the SSOTS environment and to be true, I doubt it. How do you update your LMS? Youd need the SSODS web interface if so. karlek's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64321 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107496 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Years ago I used this program to automatically take artwork from the itunes database and embed into each file. It worked in a batch (automated) way and outcome was perfect. Easy to use. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Converting Itunes Artwork to LMS ? ...............................
I set up a RPi for a friend of mine. He had a lot of Music stored in Itunes I copied the Itunes Folder on his Apple to a Drive and took it home to convert to LMS I seemed to have got all the Music stored by Artist>Album>Track. No Artwork however. I noticed that under his Itunes Folder there is another folder called 'Album Artwork', however none of it makes any sense to me... (i.e. Files Windows Cannot Open etc.) So, my Question: Is there a straightforward way to Get the artwork into the proper Albums? Not necessary, but it would be nice. Ah I see.. I have downloaded SoftSqueeze (http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net/download.html) for my Ubuntu laptop... and now Im trying to connect to my server but it hangs on "Please Wait, Connecting to Slim Server" So I think it is a server not found issue. But since the piCorePlayer CAN ping to the (LMS) server, it is not the case that they are on a different network.. so could it be a router problem?? Even though I like linux and command line work (and have done some work in it), I dont know how to check or set this correctly. Can you help maybe? zwep's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68208 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109134 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
