Is there anything out there, or do most people just backup the key directories as I will be doing from now on ? [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS Config backup/restore
After just accidentally deleting my LMS installation on my NAS, and having to reinstall/reconfigure everything (I did have some prefs config files saved, though a bit old) I was wondering if anyone has created a routine or plugin that will backup all appropriate LMS server/plugin configuration files for an easier recovery? I assume all the prefs files for the config and plugins will be needed along with favourites and any plugin data (eg. for me it was IRBlaster configs) Is there anything out there, or do most people just backup the key directories as I will be doing from now on ? I'm already running a ssl for Home Assistant, so I suspect (now I know what I'm trying to achieve) the easiest option is going to be a reverse proxy from the HA install back to LMS. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Issue with playing on Sonos
Hi I installed Logitech media server on my Synology NAS. I have enabled the UPnP/DNLA bridge and spotty connect plugins. My purpose is to get the server to recognize my sonos speakers and then push them to Spotify Connect to be used on Spotify Connnect devices for use on my home dashboards. In Spotty, I have authorized spotify, and under the UPnP settings I fetched the profiles for Sonos and applied them. The issue that I am running into is that when using the logitech media sever dashboard and attempting to play a song or playlist from spotify on the sonos speaker, i get a message in the sonos app saying "Unable to play "xx" - the connection to 10.0.0.173:49153 was lost. The song name appears in the sonos app but the music does not play. Am i missing a step? If I create a favourite using Material WEB GUI or SL-X (Material) the favourite will not play and the error is logged. How did you save the Favorite? The RadioNet plugin is a directory, it find the RadioNet page internally and then extracts the playable URL, it does not facilitate playing RadioNet page URLs directly. Hi All, I have recently discovered the Radionet plugin for LMS and am enjoying it, however there seems to be a problem. OK, I see. Yes, it created that file. No, it doesn't autostart. Just, as usual now, restart brings up the pref pane to the desktop, showing server in stopped mode, which I then can manually start there if I like. Well, it wouldn't give you any response, but it should create a startup item /Library/LaunchDaemons/Squeezebox.plist. Does that file exist? I am the author of the MediaServer and LMS-lite Alexa skills which also need to be able to access LMS via https (with added authentication). The help page at https://smartskills.tech/squeezesetup/index.html describes the use of ngrok as a proxying means (used by almost all my skill users). With ngrok there's no need for messing with certs or opening router ports so it may be an easy fit.
