However it requires SSH access to the Synology. - stop the perl package via synopkg stop Perl - locate the volume where the Perl binary is installed /volumeX/@appstore/Perl - delete the Perl folder via rm -r - go to /var/packages and delete the Perl folder in here as well Now you can go to the Webinterface again and manually install the old version of Perl by uploading the pkg file After that the LMS package is able to start again doncmdr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1011 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113893 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Sorry for asking. Most people would just press stop or start something else playing OR use sleep mode but I can see how your use case fits with ACD. I dont know the answer to your question but I do know the stop link you are talking about only appears if you have a random mix running and these days I dont use it at all - I prefer DSTM/LastMix - although I do use Random Seeds to kick a mix off with DSTM VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* Joggler & Pi4/Khadas -> Onkyo TXNR686 -> Celestion F20s *Office* Joggler & Pi3 -> Denon RCD N8 -> Celestion F10s *Dining Room* SB Boom *Kitchen* UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* Pi Zero+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV) & Bathroom* SB Touch ->Denon AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s + Kef ceiling speakers *Guest Room* Joggler > Topping Amp -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes Everything controlled by iPeng & Material on iOS d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114231 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

LMS can do that - and usually it works. Assuming one of the plugins is enabled. However, UPnP interoperability is notoriously tricky. The UPnP server that Logitech built years ago (when they appear to have been working towards LMS being a more general purpose media server) has not been modified for years. While that in itself is not necessarily a bad thing it does mean that newer software out in the world might not work well with it. I assume that MinimServer has been worked on more recently and interop issues with mainstream UPnP clients are resolved. Cancel that. Further investigation established that I was not downloading the correct programme for my model ie DS118. Anyway deleted Perl and LMS as you stated and reloaded older versions and everything is working as before. download perl versions archive.synology.cn/download/Package/Perl i used the perl x86.0070.spk or the 0074. Tried that but it doesn't work for me. I'm getting the message that the package is not supported on the platform of Diskstation or is incompatible with the current DSM version You must make sure you're downloading the package for your architecture. If it's not an Intel CPU, then you need something else. For a complete luddite like me this whole LMS change is a nightmare. For once it's not a LMS change, but a DSM (Synology) change.
