Obviously it would be a complete pain to have to do this every time
there's a big Windows 10 update (if that is what is causing it).


Next time please check (or post here) your server.log file. There might 
be relevant information in there.

An update. I've got it working again, but this is what I had to do:

- Uninstall LMS
- Uninstall TIDAL App on mysqueezebox.com
- Change mysqueezebox.com password
- Change TIDAL password
- Log out of everything
- Turn off Windows Defender firewall
- Run AVG PC Clean-up
- Restart PC
- Reinstall TIDAL App on mysqueezebox.com with new password
- Reinstall LMS
- Allow LMS index to build with default values -(this happens
automatically upon installation)-
- Change Media Folders to required values on Library tab
- Add new mysqueezebox.com login details on Account tab
- Go to Advanced > Advanced Settings > My Music and reset preferences
there
- Run index rebuild (Clear library and rescan everything)... this now
picks up TIDAL content
- Go To Advanced > Web Remore Control and reselect the main player that
I want to use
- Turn Windows Defender back on

Obviously it would be a complete pain to have to do this every time
there's a big Windows 10 update (if that is what is causing it).

Once I did the above steps I then did a PC restart for good meaure - and
got a Windows Defender message pop up saying it was blocking some
aspects of the LMS application, so I allowed these through. I've checked
Windows Defender settings and LMS is set up as an app that is allowed
through the firewall, so I don't know why it is still blocking bits of
it.

It's driving me mad. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble and can
shed any more light on it?

it works, but then again it doesn't. sometimes a long press on button 1
plays preset 1, but sometimes it saves the playing station as a new
preset. 

so there are 2 contradictory programs that either play a preset or save
a preset. unfortunately I don't know how to disable the second one to
block the presets.

Hi there. This is getting very frustrating - my TIDAL integration has
stopped working again. Once more I'm not seeing TIDAL content in my "New
Music" list. In answer to the question of whether it is only in "New
Music" or all of "My Music", I think it is all of "My Music" - based on
the fact that albums that I've recently added as favourites in TIDAL are
a) not in the "New Music" list but also b) the artists and albums are
not appearing the "Artists" and "Albums" lists.

The only place TIDAL does appear is as an App under My Apps.

To confirm - I'm running LMS 8.1.1 on a Windows 10 PC.

The only significant thing that seems to have happened since it was last
working properly was that I think there was a fairly big Windows 10
undate pushed out recently. It might be coincidence but it was
immediately after that that things were messed up again.

The next time I opened the LMS Control Panel after the Windows 10
upgrade I had lost a lot of my settings. The mysqueezebox.com account
details had gone, the Media Folders in the Library tab had all reset to
defaults and all settings I had changed in the web interface (Advanced
tab > Advanced Settings > My Music) had also reverted to the default
values.

I re-entered everthing and rebuilt the LMS index and found then that the
TIDAL integration had stopped working. I tried a rebuild with my
firewall turned off and that didn't fix it. Changing things in the web
interface hasn't fixed it this time either, so that was probably a red
herring in my previous post - although it leaves me mystified as to why
it suddenly started working again last time.

I've just done another index rebuild and have checked the server and
scanner logs and can't see any errors.

Any suggestions please?

LMS defaults to using mysqueezebox.com to resize artwork and as I was
not logged in this fails effectively stalling the scan.


Please note that this setting has nothing to do with your local artwork 
or the scanner. It's only being used to resize online artwork on request.

LMS defaults to using mysqueezebox.com to resize artwork and as I was
not logged in this fails effectively stalling the scan.

Make sure you've selected "Use Logitech Media Server to resize artwork":
