Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Logitech Media Server 8.2.0 released
Since upgrading my log has been doing this about every 10 sec. It tells you that there's another LMS instance running already. Reboot your machine? Or make sure you shut down the old version first. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Logitech Media Server 8.2.0 released
With the suggested change, my Slimp3s are now working with version 8.2.0. Thanks. Thanks for the confirmation. It's now part of the 8.2.1 (and 8.3.0) nightly builds. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

d6jg wrote: > On Spotify and other services unfortunately the tagging leaves a lot to > be desired and you are going to get errors no matter what you do The idea is I tried to rename all my tags to be as Spotify tags, because Spotty needs this to use the Browse on Spotify feature. It works very well because for a local artist, Spotty tries to find all the occurrences in Spotify. I was told that this was improved IN LMS 8.2 but I did not test it yet. I am using 8.1.1 Regards JP jotap_66's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5857 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114907 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Id argue that an Original Soundtrack to a film etc (if thats what you mean by OST) is likely to be a very good example of a compilation. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Beginner's question - how to install recent LMS on Synology DS118?
Now, and this is probably a silly question for most of you, but can anyone tell me where I can find one of the more recent versions (8.#), suitable for the Synology DS118? Synology unfortunately decided to remove support for LMS. There's no future proof way to install LMS on a Diskstation. If your NAS supports Docker, you can run a dockerized version of LMS. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Beginner's question - how to install recent LMS on Synology DS118?
Hi All, I have a couple of Squeezeboxes (Classic and Duet) and a NAS (a Synology DS118). Until recently I only used them for listening to the radio and my own files, and was sort of fine using an outdated version of LMS. But I want to start using Tidal, for which I need a more recent version of LMS. Now, and this is probably a silly question for most of you, but can anyone tell me where I can find one of the more recent versions (8.#), suitable for the Synology DS118? And can I simply install it by selecting a *.spk file via the web-interface of my NAS? (the same way I recently did to re-install LogitechMediaServer-armv8-7.7.6-116.psk, which I found somewhere, after the Perl update broke LMS). Sorry if this was already explained before, but I couldn't find anything on this forum or elsewhere (I assume it might be below the skill level of the average member on this forum).
