Thanks very much for this heads up. I wasn't aware of the info in the
linked post as I don't frequent the forum on a daily basis. 

I've already made the change and LMS is now only reachable from within
my LAN.

I have 80% of my memory card empty on that pi, the media files are on a
NAS and not on the server itself.


Can you try a different memory card, or at the very least run fsck to 
check whether the file system is faulty?

Probably access issues.
Does LMS (and in particular the account that it is running under) have
read access to the folder and subfolders?

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] External music folder not adding to library

Using LMS 8.3.0 and I’m unable to add a /music folder that is stored on
an external HD. Server log remains unchanged after I try to add. Any
idea what I am doing wrong?
