with quotation marks. Is yours the same? Where is the default soundcard
defined?

I think that there have to be at least 2 before it kicks in No, that's for when there are more than 2 tracks in the queue. Once playback of the third to last track has started, DSTM would kick in. Is one track sufficient as a seed? Won’t DSTM retain what was playing beforehand as part of its track selection? Most mixer implementations I know of (and most I implemented myself :-)) would only use what is in the queue. A couple of questions while navigating in the confusing world of linux or whatever: 1. Is it possible to get CACHEDEV1_DATA back instead of CACHEDEV2_DATA? CACHEDEV1_DATA is there but has just one folder with a file in it. No idea why. Is it possible to rename it in situ? 2. server_uuid: 3c2e2a53-eaa3-4c8e-92d7-4020d46ec685 Do I delete ALL instance of server_uuid? (there are two) Do I delete "server_uuid: 3c2e2a53-eaa3-4c8e-92d7-4020d46ec685" or just the "3c2e2a53-eaa3-4c8e-92d7-4020d46ec685" I deleted the entire row "server_uuid: and left the time server_uuid row alone. The server doesn't start prob because of the references to CACHEDEV1_DATA instead of CACHEDEV2_DATA... And QNAP doesn't show the files, of course. It is annoying having to run modprobe snd-aloop pcm_substreams=1 after every reboot. My recorded file is silent, presumably some issue with Squeezelite output selection or the card name in .asoundrc is wrong. I installed Squeezelite using instructions here http://www.gerrelt.nl/RaspberryPi/wordpress/tutorial-installing-squeezelite-player-on-raspbian/ If I change the Squeezelite output to default I hear no sound from my USB DAC but my recorded file is silent if either default or my USB DAC is selected. I am stuck. I suspect a clear and rescan will be the easiest way to get going again after copying settnigs. Hi all, I am currently running LMS 8.4 on a Windows Server installation. I want to move to it to a Docker container a much less power-hungry ARM-based microcomputer running Alpine Linux. Is there some way of migrating the database/plugins/settings so I don't lose the history etc? The files will remain on the same machine, but the paths will end up looking different I would guess? DTSM has been set to LastMix ("My Music" only) that works with Squeezer,
Material and iPeng. However when I make a call for one favorite using
JSONRPC, it plays the track (single not album) but does not activate
DSTM to build the queue? What I am looking to do is to programmatically
select a different favorite track that sets off a random queue of DSTM /
LastMix
The way how you tell LMS to play a new track shouldn't have any impact
on DSTM. In particular using JSONRPC, as that's likely what Squeezer and
Material (and the default skin in some cases) are doing as well.
Please note that submitting a single track would not immediately trigger
DSTM. You'd have to wait until half way through the track (IIRC).

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Server restart after plugin update - autostart not working
Hi, When I turn the player on normally, the autostart favourite plays. If I update a plugin and then restart the server, the autostart favourite is shown on the 'Playing' screen after the server restart but doesn't play. I have to manually start it. I don't recall when this started happening but I'm fairly sure it used to restart normally after a server update. Is there any setting I should be looking at?
