I made the change plus fixed my other error (fixing the path to \SQUEEZEBOX*\SERVER*\SQUEEZESVR.EXE) and this started LMS! I was able to connect radio to My Music. In this state, radio will not connect to Mysqueezebox.com which is a logical result. Once I shut the PC down, I can get back to mysb.com. Looks great! I'm assuming that's the fall back position if mysb.com should disappear one day. Exactly what I was looking for and I appreciate the time and patience you've had. While the server is running in that state, is there a way for me to access the control panel? If I use the normal Windows shortcut to start the control panel, it starts but tells me the server is not running and it still contains the mysb.com tab. So, perhaps there is a different way to start the control panel. ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108990 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Thanks. I have installed LMS 9.7.1 In Windows 10 there is no LMS exe. There are a few executable files and it looks like the file I need to focus on is SqueezeSvr.exe I'm way outside my comfort zone here but I tried setting up a batch file with one line that looks like this: \"C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\SQUEEZEBOX\SQUEEZESVR.EXE\" \"--NOSQUEEZEBOX\" \"--START\" That doesn't seem to do anything and I've tried a couple of different formats. So, I'm asking for input on whether this is the correct executable file and what is the format for running this file with the correct parameters. ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108990 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Running LMS with Windows 10 without mysqueezebox.com
I'm now running LMS 7.9.1 under Windows 10 on my PC. I would like to understand how to run LMS without dependence on mysqueezebox.com How do I run LMS with the "nosqueezebox parameter"? Is there a set of parameters I can utilize when running the executable file "SqueezeTray.exe"? Is it actually as simple as running the SqueezeTray.exe executable with the parameter "--nosqueezebox"? What is the correct format? Sorry for being so dense here but it's an honest question. Thanks in advance for your assistance! ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108990 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Cannot connect to LMS 7.9.1
As of this morning, I am able to connect both of my radios to LMS. I don't believe it was a firewall issue. I believe it was related to the general problem I was having connecting to mysqueezebox.com over the last several days. This connection problem has now been fixed (probably thanks to Michael Herger) and at the same time, my connection to LMS 7.9.1 was made with no issues at all. Great to have my radios back and also great to have my connection to LMS working. Thank you Michael! ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108962 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Windows 10 firewall is turned off. Unfortunately, I don't know how to how to "-allow LMS clients to connect thru needed tcp ports-". I have very little network knowledge. But I clearly can poke my way through Norton and make any needed adjustments if I know what to look for and change. ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108962 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Logitech Media Server 7.9.1 is out!
I have not been able to connect my two radios to mysqueezebox.com I am able to connect to my wireless network and I'm also able to connect via ethernet cable. But I cannot connect to mysqueezebox.com. I just downloaded LMS 7.9.1 and installed it on my PC (Windows 10). I thought I'd at least be able to get some connectivity but my radio will not connect to my PC which now has LMS 7.9.1 up and running. Could use some help but I'm not sure where to start or if I'm actually posting in the right place. At this point, I have two Booms which connect directly to mysqueezebox.com but radios simply show a red WIFI signal. I redirected one radio to the prior (old) version of LMS and it seemed to be working fine until I upgraded to the version prior to 7.9.1 I now have a radio that will not connect to LMS or to mysqueezebox.com. I can connect to the network with WIFI and with Ethernet but no connection to LMS. Perhaps there is a firewall issue with LMS. Any assistance would be appreciated. ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108957 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
