Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Most recent MacOS update broke LMS?
I can confirm that the codesign workaround works in Monterey as well. I did need to restart my Mac for LMS to reconnect to my Booms. Can also confirm that granting explicit Full Disk Access to bash and perl is no longer necessary and I removed those permissions in the Privacy Settings. dmw010's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71000 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116791 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

OK, thanks, I did that and granted full disk access to that version of perl and rebooted. Still got the perl access request, allowed it, and LMS still can't see the Boom players. Does it matter whether I remove bash and the other versions of perl from full disk access? I also wanted to mention that when it was working, I was able to select a media folder on the Library tab, LMS would start, and I was able to listen to music on my SB Booms. But the Booms often had problems connecting to the server, and then I had the issue where I was getting the "Problem: can't open file" messages on the Booms for some songs. ---- dmw010's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71000 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113345 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Interesting idea, but I can't figure out how to do that. And from what it says on that page, the option to force Rosetta is only available for dual universal Intel + Apple Silicon apps. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS and Apple M1 Mac
I am a long-time LMS user on Windows. Recently, I switched to Mac, and I have a new M1 Mac Mini. This is my first time running LMS on a Mac, and on Big Sur, and with the new M1 SoC. I am running LMS version 8.0.1, and have been having major problems. I have already granted full disk access to perl and bash. I did get it mostly working at one point, but now it is unusable. In the preference pane, most of the dropdowns and buttons are greyed-out, including being unable to add a media folder (currently blank), and I cannot start the server. Also cannot click "Advanced Settings" on the Advanced tab. When it was briefly working, I was also getting the error "Problem: can't open file for" on my Boom for some songs but not others (all of which work fine in Apple Music and are the same file types). ---- dmw010's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=71000 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113345 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
