Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !
I am stuck on on version '8.3.0 - 1664261103 @ Tue 27 Sep 2022'. I have QLMS v2.31 .QLMS.conf settings of: UPDATE=1# (1) [ 0/1 Where on 1 it will check on officiel update on every startup, 0 will disable it. ] NIGHTLY=1 # (1) [ 0/1 Where on 1 it will check on NIGHTLY update on every startup, 0 will disable it. ] DEVELOPERS=0 # (0) [ If set will check on DEVELOPERS updates, this are pre/beta/testing releases can be buggy! ] When I watch LMS start in the QNAP notifications window I don't see it checking for update like it used to. Any ideas? earthbased's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=334 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108702 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] QLogitechMediaServer for Qnap with QTS 4.2 or higher and x86_64/I686/X86 support !
I did the 'touch .update' and it executed with no errors. I then stopped QLMS from the QnapClub My Apps icon. I then started QLMS again to force check for LMS update. Icon indicated running but command line said not running. Here are the command I had to do to get LMS running: Code: [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # touch .UPDATE [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # ./LogitechMediaServer.sh* status LogitechMediaServer is not running, do ./LogitechMediaServer.sh start to start services ! [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # ./LogitechMediaServer.sh* stop LogitechMediaServer was already stopped ! [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # ./LogitechMediaServer.sh* start LogitechMediaServer is disabled in the appstore, or is not installed ! [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # ./LogitechMediaServer.sh* start LogitechMediaServer is already running on [7686] ! [/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer] # And my LMS was still at 'Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1519287262 @ Thu Feb 22 09:27:46 CET 2018' so it didn't update. So questions are: Must QLMS be stopped and started only from the command? If so, what the Icon stop/start do? Why did my LMS version update when I execute the 'touch .update' and restarted LMS? Finally had the time to go from 1.5 to 1.7. 1.5 was running fine. I followed all the directions for a clean install and had no errors. I had to add '-R' to the 'prefs' copy back. However, it appears LMS did not recognize my saved Cache and prefs. I had to set up everything again which was easy since I only have one player right now. Is running now OK. But for some reason I lost my 'Favorites'. I did stop LMS before cp'ing 'prefs' and 'Cache' (P in 'prefs' is lower case on m system when its was 'Prefs' on SSOTS). Qnap said my file systems were OK. I do get Swap Space warnings now. Will upgrade memory from 2 GB to 8 GB. I only use QNAP for LMS and files sharing currently. Maybe new firmware stressed system more and the Clam AV is bloatware. I download to my Mac OS computer that does "unzip" the TGZ and then I pick the the QPKG in the new Mac OS sub-directory from App Center. I will start fresh again and ALWAYS check Resouce Monitor -> Processes to make sure it stopped. What are the processes for LMS I should monitor? Stopping SqueezeboxServer 7.9.1-1513400996 (please wait) ... OK. Stopping thttpd-ssods .. OK. deluser: unknown user MIP delgroup: unknown group ssods This removed LMS completely. I then did a manual App install of DigiMaster's QPKG.All went well and I have 'LogitechMediaServer 1.03.2beta' app installed. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LogitechMediaServer for Qnap x86_64 with qts 4.2 or higher
Hi, I have a TS-251A with Celeron N3060 X86-64. Some questions: 1) Since I currently use SSOTS, will using DIGIMASTER package use same install location? 2) If so, will SSOTS cause problems if not uninstalled? 3) In App Center I have LMS listed as 7.7.2 but it stops and starts my current version 7.9.1 so I see no way to use DIGIMASTER package from this App Center as DIGIMASTER stated it could be; do I have to REMOVE LMS from App Center and if so will this cause any problems since I use SSOTS currently?
