I will try that setting. Now it's set for "Pause at Power off". I will set it for "Stop at Power off" and 'Keep stopping at Power on". (My language is set to Dutch so I don't know exact what it is called in English.) Could this be related to Player "Power off" settings - set to "Pause at Power off" rather than "Stop at Power off". I certainly want to hear this. I also try it again. So I set the player to play on alarm an currently loaded playlist. The first time it goes well. Music fades in. But after I stopped the music and__set_the_player_off_ the next time (a few minutes further) when the alarm goes off the music plays on full volume.:confused: Strange that it works with you and not with my configuration. Any help would be appreciated. I set one alarm and let it play into the second song in the playlist then stopped it. I then set a second alarm and the second song faded in. ? There is a box in the playeralarm settings. This box is responsible for mixe alarmplaylist / dont mix it. My Alarm isnt mixed - IMHO i always want to be sure that i leave my home @ the right time and thats when the Four Tops plays It's The Same Old Song.. Maybe I was not clearly enough. The thing is. I have a Spotify playlist (for example: "Pop ballads") saved as a Favorite. When I want to wake up on Monday with music from that playlist I chose this Favorite. When the alarm goes off the server load this playlist in to the player and the music fade in. So far so good. After a few minutes when I am awake I stop the player manually. Now I want the same playlist to play the next day (Tuesday) so I configured that it should play the "existing/actual playlist", because it was already loaded the day before and was nog ended. This time the music start on full sound, so without fading in. This is my problem/question. You can ask me, why I don't chose for the Tuesday also the Favorite "Pop Ballads". But my experience is that I hear every day the same song at first. I thought to chose for the already loaded playlist that I wake up with the next song to be played. I hope this made things clearer. What kind of playlist ? There migth be some kinds of files or streams that are transcoded that the xfade does not work on ? A bunch of local flac tracks ( not cue + file ) that should always work as a baseline . OK, let me try again. My issue is that the music is not fade in when it should play at the time I have set the alarm. Normally the music is getting louder when the alarm goes off. In my case the music is immediately on his maximum volume. The source is the existing playlist what is already loaded in the player. When I choose a new playlist all works well. Another thing I noticed is that at the end of an existing playlist, DSTP doesn't work. Maybe these things are related? Anyone? Also notice that in my case "Don't stop the Music" doesn't work. I prefer "Spotify recommendations" to play after the original playlist is ready. But nothing. I have set the alarm that it uses the existing playlist (random off) to play when the time is right. Also set to use fade in when it starts. But I noticed this does not work. Any suggestions?
