I accidentally placed a checkmark on SqueezeScrobbler in the plugins
list and installed it with other plugins. SqueezeScrobbler is invisible.
As a reward I get restart now once I go to the plugin page in settings.
I have no idea how to solve this...

Unfortunately, this issue has surfaced again.

is not a valid link anymore. Clicking through the various SourceForge
levels,

appears to work as a direct link - but I would not know how long :(

There even seems to be a new version 1.2.9 (no documented changes)

Phillipe has changed the URL of the repository to one where seems to
avoid the redirection issue.

It is supplied by Logitech (this is why Michael was involved) - you
don't need to enter it. Delete any phillipe_44 ones you have in the
additional respitories.

But hear this; I do not consider myself the average "dummy", but all too
often I find that forum contributors take for granted that all people
already know the obvious (which is rarely the case). So taking the extra
time to explain just a little bit more often proves to be the difference
between success and failure for the rest of us. :)

It also seems to me that the "update Plug-ins automatically" also has to
be tagged (?). I was unable to activate CastBridge without it. But now
it works. Again, thanks to yourself, Philippe and Michael (Who I belive
is not doing this on behalf of Logitech, but just out the good from his
own heart - am I right?)

Conversely - sometimes the developer is trying to find a solution and
being pushed for answers is a distraction when one is not sure the
answer will work for all.  Patience is needed and developers have to
sleep so immediate answers aren't always available.

MIchael goes well beyond the job by trying as far as possible to be
responsive at all times - this should not be abused nor taken for
granted.

but when you were asking the questions of Phillipe in Canada - it could
be  3:00-4:00am

Time is the most precious commodity of developers and it is limited  -
Is it better to spend 1hr fixing problems to which there are many users
waiting compared to 1 hour writing a note to explain how a problem was
solved ?

I think so, but only when plugin repositories are stored on sourceforge
- bpa and tcutting seem to have experienced the same problem
