I have just been through all the plugins listed (I dont use them all). Nevetheless, some will go to the 'settings' page, OK. My guess is that the plug in repositories are being blocked? (Now try disabling Firewall?) If you never see me again, that is why! Ok many thanks Michael. This is happening on all the pages requiring access to extra settings. Not exactly a pop up but a sub page? All I get when I try to enter Settings from my Spotty page. Nothing:- 23743 Also when I go to access the radio (iPlayer) 23744 Default is Chrome but it also happens with Safari. I must check security settings? Just installed Mac Os Sierra and of course had to reconfigure everything. Sierra or High Sierra? 10.13 is High Sierra. My problem is that on the 'advanced settings' web page (http://localhost:9000/settings/index.html) I do not get the pop-up page to enter the passwords and preferences for the plugins. I'm not aware of popup windows. What browser?
