Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Player Display oddity
It's POSSIBLE that a faulty PSU could do this. Do you have another one that you could try? Why not just keep the display on low? It should last a long time on that setting. I know, this is not the answer your looking for. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Player Display oddity
In my Living Room I have an SB3 and an o2 Joggler both connected to the same amp. The 2 players are synched but the amp is only ever operated with the SB3 input. On the SB3 I have the display switched off in an attempt to preserve the player for as long as possible. The Joggler acts predominantly as a now playing screen but sometimes as a touch screen controller. It has been hacked with Kollossos VU meters. Both are wired. The Oddity is that for no apparent reason the SB3 display may decide to light up for a few seconds - 10 to 15 - and then switch itself off again. It isn't related to track changes or anything that I can determine. There is no loss of audio. Anyone else seen this and know why? *Vortexbox LMS 7.9 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106813 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
