Nice to read the fixs solves the problem on you'r end to. It also solved many thing at my LMS, now it plays all the music i want. Hopefully they will also fix it on the LMS side. But due to reading this tread, found the problem and how to ad a fix. Also, there is one other thing on my installation that is different and that is I create a symlink to the Cache folder on a share I created. This is what I do: Code: mv /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Cache /volume1/SqueezeShare/ ln -s /volume1/SqueezeShare/Cache /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/ This is so that a program I use, Muso, can have access to the Cache folder. I would try; Stopping the LMS service Renaming the .db files (On a Wintel system these are under ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache not sure for a Synology) Restarting LMS service This should start a complete rebuild of the LMS databases, rather than just a rescan. If the database structure is damaged a rescan wont fix the problem. Ensure the scan completes fully and then try again. Also check your Synology SMART status and check you don't have lots of disk errors,as googling "database disk image is malformed" is also an indicator of potential hardware failure. I am successfully running LMS on a Qnap NAS in a container. The Qnap is a lovely server that suits my needs and works well in conjunction with my Touch. All music is in Flac format and backed up to the cloud using Qnap backup utility. I changed the setting on the behaviour of flac back to system defaults (these systems standard settings lead to my problem) and no error messages anymore, playback on my *.wav-files is just fone.
