Right now we need to either update all the JSPs taglib directive or providing a mapping in web.xml Both cases make updating to newer versions of struts a bit more painful. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mailto:struts-dev-unsubscribe;jakarta.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: mailto:struts-dev-help;jakarta.apache.org

It may be beneficial to simply remove the version number from the uri entirely. So in every version of struts you would use a uri like: http://jakarta.apache.org/struts/tags-html This would make it easier to migrate to new versions because users won't have to update their %@ taglib % tags with version numbers. This mostly affects servlet 2.3 users who are using the full uri for easier deployment. Are there any problems with this approach? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
