Re: [Sugar-devel] Browse-130 fails to launch on XO-1 with os2 (F17)

2011-12-24 Thread Gonzalo Odiard
Browse 130 needs the new gtk3 bindings and a sugar-toolkit-gtk3.
Was uploaded to ASLO only to be included in the new F17 images.
All the dependencies will be in os3
Be patient

[Sugar-devel] filter objectchooser with custom mimetypes?

2011-12-24 Thread Erik Blankinship
Digging around through the archives, I am not getting too far figuring out
how to pass in my own set of mime-types to filter what is shown in an
objectchooser.

Any suggestions? Can I extend the available choices like
mime.GENERIC_TYPE_AUDIO?

Or create my own filter-object to pass into the objectchooser constructor
via the what_filter parameter? Thanks. I am stumped.

[Sugar-devel] adding the right file extension when copying an object

2011-12-24 Thread Erik Blankinship
When I copy sugar journal entries to a usb stick, they are given the
correct file extensions.

In an activity, if I select an object from the ObjectChooser, and want to
save that Object to a usb stick myself, how do I use that same sugar logic
to add the right file extensions?

Thanks!

Sugar leads to Rum, leads to power, leads to use of Sugar. Richard

Hope everyone in the Sugar and OLPC world is enjoying a happy holiday, in
peace, safety and good company.

If you are hiding away from the family with your laptop, I wish you a very
fruitful time too.

A number of people in the OLPC world are working hard at this time of the
year, in deployments, in software development and in so many other areas.
Some things have a demanding rhythm that never stops.

My toast is to this beautiful group of mad people. Find a way to stop and
relax. Recharge that battery. Hug someone close to you; put the laptop

[Sugar-devel] Query regarding error message

2011-12-24 Thread Ajay Garg
Hi all.

I am trying to update an activity, via "olpc-update-control" rpm, on a
sugar-jhbuild.

Towards the end, I get these logs ::

1324746237.423585 DEBUG root: STARTUP: Adding bundle
'/home/ajay/Activities/Maze.activity'
1324746237.426864 DEBUG root: Upgrade vu.lux.olpc.Maze
Error setting OHM inhibit: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown:
The name org.freedesktop.ohm was not provided by any .service files

After the "error log", nothing more happens.

I need to complete the following ticket (on "olpc-update-control"):
http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2818

Is there anything I am missing, that may fix this issue?

Looking forward to a reply.

Regards,
Ajay
